Quiet as in we knew our neighbours, could hitch a ride with local folks and always feels safe. Then I moved to Austin, Texas. Every family who moves there bases their house purchase on getting a property in a "good" school district. This segregates family"s even more. I don't agree with this defining of 'good neighbourhoods' with good schools and ' bad ones.
